LED and CFL lights: Both have their advantages!

CFL

CFL lights are very reliable. You can buy them allmost everywhere and they are very easy to use. Just place them as close as possible, but watch out that you dont burn the plant! The can give som serious heat depending on how much watts you are using. It is better to use multiple small CFL bulbs in stead off one or two big CFL bulbs. You have CFL bulbs in different sizes and color codes. Cool white is for growing and warm white is for flowering.

LED

LED lights are definetly more efficient. They use less watts and have a lot off power. They can be expensive if you have a big LED setup, however E27 LED light bulbs are verry effective and cheap. It's very important to check the distance between the plant and the light because the LED can be very strong even the smaller light bulb that I show on the top of my page. When using LED lights the LEDs are red and blue. Blue for growing en red for flowering.

An electricity cord to connect a e27 LED or CFL light bulb. When you are doing a micro grow you cant use big grow lights so you need to use grow bulbs. With this wiring you can connect it very easily. Most off the time you wont find these in the local shops because every light they sell needs a protection cover.

e27 LED Grow lights

These are the e27 LED grow lights that i personally use. I grow in a micro grow setting, so i dont have a lot of space. These lights are perfect to get the quality of LED grow lights but not light burn.. A LED grow light normally needs 20-30 cm between the light and the plant. With this LED grow light you can place the light closer. But when you have anough space i would advice to go for a bigger one. Uses around 5 watt.

When you have a bit more space, lets say the height of your grow box is more then 60 centimeters. You could use a stronger LED (then the one you see here above). A strong LED light like this needs 20-30 cm between the light and the plant or else it will get light burn. When the plant is bigger you can place the light a bit closer. This light uses 12 watt.

This a very good but also very strong e27 LED grow bulb of 20 watt. You definetly need about 30 cm between this bulb and your plant, the first weeks you even need more space between the light and the plant! When the plant is bigger you can put them closer. When you dont have enough space i would definetly not advice this e27 grow bulb. But when you have enough space, this is TOP NOTCH :)

This is a super strong e27 LED grow light of 36 watt. Only use this light when you have enough space. There must be around 30 cm between he light and the plant when using this grow light. This grow light is so strong you could grow one small plant with it easily :)

Absolutely the best e27 grow light you can get. This grow light even has a build in fan so your plants wont get in the heat! And it still fits in a normal e27 fitting (like you see above). Very powerfull grow light. Enough for one plant. It needs some distance between the light and the plant to use it though. This grow light puts out 40 watt. Exactly what most e27 fittings can handle at max.

This is one of the strongest e27 LED grow lights that you can get. The LED diodes that are used are less powerfull then the advanced LED that you see on the left, so this LED contains more LED lights, to create a powerfull grow lamp. This grow light comes close to 50 watt. Check if your e27 fitting can handle a powerfull light like this.

This LED system is the perfect option when e27 grow bulbs are just to small for you and a big grow system is way to big. These UFO leds are very cheap and put out a lot of power. They are also very small if you would compare it to a normal LED system.

When you are doing a bigger grow, Then you need more lights off course. Then it is not efficient to use several light bulbs. This grow light is perfect for a bigger setup. it puts out light that you can compare with a 450 watt HPS but it only uses 200 watt. It also has a switch for flowering vegging to safe energy!

You can compare this LED system with a 300 watt HPS but its only consumes 135 watts. The light this grow light puts out is no joke and it will help you grow more then you can ever smoke ;)

Over here you see a grow light that puts out 300 watt (compared to HPS) but it uses around 140 watt. The price is absolutely amazing and almost a joke. For less then 65$ you can have a grow light, strong enough to help you grow your life time supply. What a amazing time to be a stoner.

This LED grow light is well respected within the grow community. It puts out 300 watt of LED light but it uses around 150 watt. This grow light is used by a lot of growers and has proven to be very reliable, but LED lights are reliable in general :) Very good price - quality ratio. Best deal!!

This is the best grow light in the bizz :) But it will cost you ;) Even the look of this LED grow light is amazing. This light is very good in giving you as much as possible off the full light spectrum. Its not like expensive clothes that you only pay for the name, okey just a little bit then :)

Another next level grow light :) I admit these arent the most powerfull grow lights but in a micro grow setting they can do wonders because the plant is close to the light. This one uses a total of 14 watt and as you can see you get two bulbs for the price of one to spread the light evenly.
